
Kontroler game Sony memiliki 12 tombol analog yang peka terhadap tekanan, (4 tombol untuk arah, Silang, Segitiga, Lingkaran, dan Kotak, L1, L2, R1, dan R2) dan 5 tombol digital (MODE, START, SELECT, R3, L3) dan 2 joystick analog.
Terdapat 2 motor di dalam joystick yang dapat bergetar karena ketidakseimbangannya saat berputar. Kontroler joystick nirkabel bekerja dengan frekuensi 2,4GHz dan memiliki jangkauan 10 meter. Joystick juga memiliki indikator LED untuk mengirim dan menerima data. Joystick ini hanya membutuhkan 3 baterai AAA (dalam beberapa tipe hanya membutuhkan 2 baterai AAA).

- Data: Jalur master untuk mengirim data ke slave (MOSI) - Pull Up menggunakan Resistor 10K yang terhubung dengan 3,3 Volt agar data yang dihasilkan bisa stabil.
- Command: Jalur slave untuk mengirim data ke master (MISO)
- Vibration: Supply motor getaran; 7,2 – 9V
- GND: suplai negatif
- VCC: suplai Rangkaian : 3,3 Volt
- Attention: Pin CS (Chip Select) untuk memilih slave dan menyiapkan koneksi
- Clock: Mirip dengan SCK
- No Connection: tidak dipakai
- Acknowledge : Membaca sinyal triger dari Joystick ke PS2 sebagai penerima

- Hubungkan CLK dengan pin D52 ATMEGA 2560
- Hubungkan ATT dengan pin D53 ATMEGA 2560
- Hubungkan CMD dengan pin D51 ATMEGA 2560
- Hubungkan DAT dengan pin D50 ATMEGA 2560
- Hubungkan board ATMEGA 2560 dengan Komputer menggunakan kabel USB.
- Bukalah IDE Arduino, kemudian ketikkan kode program/sketch atau buka file STICK_PS
- Compile menggunakan verify button (tanda ceklist pada IDE arduino) untuk mengecek ada atau tidaknya error/kesalahan dalam pengetikan.
- Upload program ke arduino dengan cara, pilih File > Upload to I/O board, atau tekan tombol tanda panah pada jendela IDE arduino.
